PRP for Pigmentation
PRP for Pigmentation – Eternal Aesthetics
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) can be effective in treating pigmentation, particularly when used in combination with microneedling or skin resurfacing treatments. While it’s not a first-line treatment for all types of pigmentation, it shows promising results for post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH), melasma, and sun damage—especially in skin types prone to pigmentary disorders.
Glow naturally—PRP is your skin’s reset button for pigmentation and tone
No lasers, no downtime—just regeneration
Melasma, sun spots, or post-acne marks? Let your own platelets lighten and brighten.”
Why PRP Works for Pigmentation
PRP is packed with growth factors and cytokines that support:
- Regulation of melanocyte activity – helps reduce excess melanin production
- Cell turnover and regeneration – lightens pigmented cells and improves skin clarity
- Improved healing post-microneedling/peel – reducing risk of PIH
- Anti-inflammatory effects – crucial in treating melasma and PIH without triggering rebound pigmentation
PRP does not bleach the skin—it improves pigmentation through skin regeneration and balance, not suppression.
